In addition to creating new assets, ANA allows you to rename existing Marketo assets to bring them in line with your organization’s naming conventions. All supported asset types can be renamed.

Renaming an Existing Asset

1. Search for the Asset

From the Assets Module, click Create/Rename and switch to the rename view. Use the search bar to find existing assets by keyword. Results are filtered by the selected asset type.

2. Edit the Name

Select an asset from the search results. The current name is displayed along with the category fields. Update the category values to generate a new compliant name, or edit the name directly.

3. Save Changes

Review the updated name and click Save. The asset is renamed in Marketo immediately. The asset’s internal Marketo ID remains unchanged — only the display name is updated.

All asset types that are enabled in the Configuration Module can be renamed:

  • Emails
  • Forms
  • Landing Pages
  • Programs
  • Campaigns

Quick Rename from Recently Created

The Recently Created Assets view provides quick access to assets created through ANA. If you need to adjust the name of a recently created asset, you can rename it directly from this view without navigating through the full rename workflow.
