Asset Sync settings

Choose how Asset Sync writes into each target instance and pin source items to specific target items.

Supported MAPEloqua

These settings live under Settings → Agent context → Asset Sync in the product (/settings/agents/asset-sync). They are specific to this agent, separate from org Context.

Open settings
Open Settings
In Agent Studio, go to Settings, then Agent context → Asset Sync (/settings/agents/asset-sync).
Select the source connection
The source is the Eloqua connection selected in the Settings header. It is shown as Source instance.
Pick a target instance
Choose the Target instance you migrate into. The sections below stay hidden until a target is selected. Deploy options apply to that target. Reference mappings apply to that source and target pair.
Configure
Set the deploy options (they save automatically), then add any reference mappings you need.

Deploy options
OptionWhat it does
Deploy emails without their email groupEmails are created without a link to their source email group, useful when that group does not exist in the target.
Deploy forms without processing stepsCopies the form itself and leaves out its processing steps.
Duplicate handlingWhat happens when the asset you sync already exists in the target by name: Overwrite existing (always update), Modified On (update only if the source is newer), or Skip existing (never overwrite).
Image base URLSource image links in copied HTML are rewritten to this host.
App base URL (tracking domain)Default target tracking domain. Links with no microsite mapping are rewritten here. Mapped microsites use their own target domain.
Email sender defaultsSender name, sender email, reply-to name, and reply-to email applied to copied emails. Leave blank to keep the source or mapped values.
Reference mappings

A reference mapping pins a source item to a specific target item. Asset Sync checks mappings before it matches by name. Pick a mapping type, search each side by name (or type a value, such as a sender address), then click Add mapping. Remove a mapping at any time; sync then falls back to name matching.

  • Microsite: the target microsite that hosts copied landing pages. Required before landing pages can be created in the target.
  • Default email sender: the target sender address for the source default sender.
  • Email header and Email footer: the target header or footer to use.
  • Contact field and Account field: an existing target field to reuse. With no mapping and no exact name match, sync creates the field.
Reference mappings section with a microsite mapping added

The Reference mappings section with a Microsite mapping type selected, both sides searched, and at least one mapping listed after Add mapping. Use a demo instance.
Target scope. Always confirm which source and target are selected before you change options. Settings for one target never change another, and nothing here writes to Eloqua: changes take effect on the next preview and apply.
