Workbench
Find inactive Eloqua campaigns and emails, search and export instance data, and create folders in bulk, free to use without AI credits.
Supported MAPEloqua
Open Workbench from Home or go to /agents/workbench. You work in a chat + panel workspace: ask about inactive assets or folder uploads in chat, and the panel gives you the Dashboard (asset inventory and inactivity reports) and Tools (queries, audits, data dictionary, and bulk folder creation).
Workbench reads from your Eloqua connection. It is included on every plan, including Free, and has no settings page.
Free to use manually. Reports, queries, exports, and folder creation do not use AI credits. Only chat does. If your credits run out, or your role does not include AI chat, the chat is locked but the Dashboard and Tools tabs keep working.

Before you start
- An active Eloqua connection
- A role that can run agents. Viewing reports needs read access; scans, exports, and folder creation need run access
Review inactive assets
Open Workbench
From Home, choose Workbench, or open
/agents/workbench. The panel opens on Dashboard.Check the asset inventory
Asset inventory shows a live count of emails, forms, landing pages, campaigns, programs, and contact segments in your instance.
Run a scan
Under Inactivity reports, click Refresh on Inactive campaigns or Inactive emails. Each scan looks at up to 2,000 assets and marks one inactive when no contact has entered it in 3 months. Completed campaigns are left out. Scans only read from Eloqua.
Review the results
The card shows inactive versus in use, how many were analyzed, and when the scan ran. When the scan finishes, the full report is emailed to your login address.
Export or act
Click Export to download the latest report as Excel at any time. To remove assets you no longer need, use Instance Cleaner, which previews and confirms before deleting.

Create folders in bulk
Get the template
Open Tools, then Create folders, and click Download template. Column A is the root folder, column B its first child, and so on.
Upload your sheet
Drag in your .xlsx file or click to browse. Use Replace file or Remove to change it.
Choose where
Pick the asset type under Where do you want to create the folders? Turn on Create new base folder to nest everything under a fresh top-level folder instead of reusing existing ones.
Create
Click Create folders. Folders that already exist are reused and counted as skipped, not duplicated. Recent uploads lists each file with created and skipped counts.

Create folders writes to Eloqua. It is the only Workbench tool that changes your instance, and clicking Create folders is your confirmation. Check the asset type and sheet first. Everything else in Workbench only reads or exports.
Chat uses saved data. Ask things like “How many campaigns are inactive?” or “Recent folder uploads.” Answers come from your latest saved scans and folder upload history, not live queries, so run a fresh scan first if you need current numbers. Chat never changes Eloqua.
